It can be turned off in the configuration file with 'use_sendfile=NO', should that be desired. The same >2GiB problem with vsftpd is precisely how I found this blog post :P. vsftpd does use sendfile() and has been using it for a loooooong time. It can be turned off in the configuration file with ‘use_sendfile=NO’, should that be desired. The same >2GiB problem with vsftpd is precisely how I found this blog post :P.
